SAY GOODBYE TO UNWANTED HAIR,
AND HELLO TO SMOOTH SKIN.
LASER HAIR REDUCTION
HOW TO PREPARE
We recommend avoiding any sun exposure or tanning beds at least 3 weeks before your first treatment. We recommend shaving 6 weeks prior to treatment on a weekly basis. Please avoid bleaching, tweezing or any waxing 6 weeks prior for best results. If you are tanned we ask if you could wait until tan is faded before beginning laser hair removal. The day off your appointment we ask that you shave the treatment ares. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill out our mandatory laser form. Please understand that no treatment will be preformed without signature. If you are concerned about pain we kindly ask you to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to appointment time to apply numbing cream. Get excited because you have decided to reduce your hair growth.
HOW LONG DO TREATMENTS TAKE, AND HOW MANY WILL I NEED?
Treatment times vary on the areas being treated. The amount of times may vary depending on your specific needs and the amount of hair you have. Hair growth is reduced after each treatment and the number of treatments required will be based on your hair color and type, body area and skin tone.
WHAT ARE THE TREATMENTS LIKE? ARE THEY PAINFUL?
The treatment is very brief and the laser technician will deliver the energy through a small handpiece. The laser delivers a beam of light, which is absorbed by the skin and converted to heat. The heat is then absorbed by the cells being targeted, while the surrounding tissue remains unaffected. Your skin may be slightly red immediately following the procedure. This typically lasts from a few minutes to several hours after the treatment.
You may use Hydrocortisone 1% cream and Benadryl post laser hair treatment for any itching, Avoid self tanners, glycolic acid and retinol products for 3-5 days before and after your laser sessions.
